Torque and Locking AgentMain Throttle Sensor Input Voltage Inspection
NOTE
Be sure the battery is fully charged.
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Remove the throttle body assy (see Throttle Body Assy
Removal in the Fuel System (DFI) chapter).
Do not disconnect the connectors of the throttle body
assy.
Disconnect the main throttle sensor connector ...
Tail/Brake Light (LED) Removal/Installation
Remove:
Upper Seat Cover (see Seat Cover Removal in the
Frame chapter)
Disconnect the tail/brake light connector [A].
Remove:
Tail/Brake Light Mounting Screws [A]
Bolts [B] and Brackets [C]
Bolt [D]
Remove the tail/brake light [A].
Bring down the rear fender rea ...

Remove:
Fuel Tank (see Fuel Tank Removal in the Fuel System
(DFI) chapter)
Connect the resistor(s) [A] (about 50 to 100 Ω) between
the fuel pump connector terminal [B] of the main harness
side and the battery negative (–) terminal [C] as shown.
