The subthrottle sensor is a rotating variable resistor that change output voltage according to throttle operating. The ECU senses this voltage change and determines fuel injection quantity, and ignition timing according to engine rpm, and throttle opening.

Non-permanent Locking Agent, clean the surfaces so
that no oil residue remains before applying liquid gasket or
non-permanent locking agent. Do not apply them excessively.
Excessive application can clog oil passages and
cause serious damage.

Using a high flash-point solvent, clean off any oil or dirt
that may be on the silicone sealant coating area. Dry
them with a clean cloth.
Apply silicone sealant to the threads of the oil pressure
switch, and tighten it.

Camshaft Runout Inspection
Remove the camshafts (see Camshaft Removal).
Set the camshaft in a camshaft alignment jig or on V
blocks.
Measure the runout with a dial gauge at the specified
place as shown in the figure.
If the runout exceeds the service limit, replace the
camshaft.
