NOTE
Be sure the battery is fully charged.
Using the peak voltage adapter [A] is more reliable way
to determine the condition of the crankshaft sensor than
crankshaft sensor internal resistance measurements.
Disconnect the crankshaft sensor lead connector (see

Fuel Hose Inspection (fuel leak, damage, installation condition)
If the motorcycle is not properly handled, the high pressure
inside the fuel line can cause fuel to leak [A] or the
hose to burst. Remove the fuel tank (see Fuel Tank Removal
in the Fuel System (DFI) chapter) and check the
fuel hoses.
Replace the fuel hose if any fraying, cracks [B] or ...
Coolant Reserve Tank Installation
Install the following to the coolant reserve tank [A].
Pad [B]
Gasket [C]
Cap [D]
Collar [E]
Install the coolant reserve tank and tighten the bolt [F].
Run the hoses correctly (see Cable,Wire, and Hose Routing
section in the Appendix chapter).
